Sunday July 5th - This is a provisional itinerary and subject to change

09:00   Meet at School Car Park - travel by bus to Newcastle Airport
13:35   Fly from Newcastle to Chennai via Dubai airport  EK0036/EK0544
            Flight time Newcastle to Dubai - 7 hours
            Flight time Dubai to Chennai - 4 hours

Monday July 6th

08:20   Arrive in Chennai
            Transfer by bus to YWCA in Chennai - lunch in Chennai - dinner in the YWCA

Tuesday July 7th

10:00    Travel by bus to Amala Childrens Home - maybe a scenic tour on the way
16:00    Arrive at Amala to welcome by the children in the home - dinner at Amala

Wednesday July 8th

Orientation day and final planning for the teaching work with the children

Thursday July 9th

Begin teaching the students

Sunday July 19th

12 noon          Leave for Tivandrum on sleeper train - 12 hour journey
12 midnight     Arrive in Kerala for transfer to the Rockholm Hotel, Kovalam

Monday July 20th

Rest time and orientation around Kovalam

Tuesday July 21st

Elephant Ride and trip to Varkala

Wednesday July 22nd

Travel by bus to Allepy for overnight stay on the Rice Boats

Thursday July 23rd

05:00  wake up and onto buses to airport at Kochin
10:30  Fly from Kochin airport via Dubai EK0531/EK0019
19:20  Arrive Manchester Airport - text parents etc to let them know arrival time home.
22:00  Arrive back at School and get picked up
