Sorry for the lack of a post for our arrival in Amala. The Internet has not been as available we had hoped and our posts had not been published from the mobile phones. We have only one access point to the blog from the school office and the man who looks after the computer has recently left citing a too low salary.
We arrived in Amala on Tuesday afternoon after a relatively short 4 hours on the bus. The welcome as always was fantastic with children playing music and offering garlands of jasmine.
We looked around the school yesterday and Mrs Moss is planning a timetable for the students who will start teaching the children here in Amala tomorrow.
Everyone has acclimatized to the heat here and we had some welcome rain last night.
We send our best regards to everyone back in the UK and hope to post some pictures here soon.
Mr Ashcroft
